Cat Pictures

A couple of days ago I notice my cat, Christopher the Assassin, sitting on a tree stump in the yard.  I grabbed my camera and ran out to take a few pictures of him.  He has the prettiest green eyes, and they showed to perfection in the photos.  After the photo shoot, he came in and joined me at my desk, where he has a bed.  He likes to keep me company while I'm on the computer.  The first picture shows him just about ready to fall asleep.  The second picture is Christopher sitting on the tree stump. (If you click on the pictures, you'll get a larger image)

Thanks, Nina. Christopher is pretty full of himself, but I do think he is pretty.

How's the ankle doing after your surgery? I hope you aren't in any pain. Take care of yourself, sweetie!

Hey Sherrie! The docs were very pleased with the surgical results and the pain is about zero now (as long as I behave). It's the not being able to get up and walk across the room because something over there needs tending that's driving me insane. My family is taking wonderful care of me, providing everything I need, but I still feel like a prisoner banging against the bars of my own body.

Yesterday, my head was deep into Sara & Ashland's world. From beyond the mist, I heard dh call my name to let me know dinner was on the way. I closed my laptop and stood straight up (for two seconds). Last night's bed-time routine included ice and pain meds. This morning, all seems back to "normal", PTL.

How are you doing with all your stuffs? Any successful conclusions?

Hugs, Nina

Nina, I'm glad to hear your docs are pleased with your surgery results and that the pain is zero, as long as you behave. *g* It sounds like all this enforced rest is good for your writing life. Use it to good advantage!
